On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, BPS Banda Aceh City collaborated with the Banda Aceh City Government to hold the 2024 Statistical Literacy Workshop in the Banda Aceh City Hall Hall. The event themed "Smartly Managing Information with Statistical Literacy" was opened directly by the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Banda Aceh City Government, Mr. Fadhil, S.Sos., M.M. In his remarks, he greatly appreciated BPS Banda Aceh City for initiating this activity as a forum for sharing information related to strategic indicators so that government policies are right on target.
This event was attended by several OPDs in Banda Aceh City, universities, companies, and professional organizations that are respondents to BPS's routine surveys, and was also attended by several statistical partners and all BPS Banda Aceh City employees. This event aims to provide literacy or a deeper understanding of the strategic indicators produced by BPS, such as population, employment, poverty, inflation, economic growth, and Human Development Index.
The speakers at this event were the Team Leaders at BPS Banda Aceh City, namely Ditalia Trisnawati, SST., Retno Aruminggalih, SST., Mursalina, SST., M.Sc., and Iqbal Iradah, SST., M.Sc., and moderated by T. Syamsul Alam, S.E., M.M.
At this event, BPS Banda Aceh City also gave awards and appreciation to the Banda Aceh City Government, senior partners, best partners, and respondents to the BPS Banda Aceh City census/survey.
It is hoped that this activity can improve better collaboration and cooperation between various parties, both providers, collectors, and users of statistical data to produce targeted development policies.
