A few days ago, the Integrated Statistics Service (PST) of BPS Banda Aceh City was visited by data users who were completing their education, namely students of the Faculty of Daāwah and Communication of the Ar Raniry State Islamic University. Their arrival with a friend was welcomed by Rini Kipiani, an employee of BPS Banda Aceh City who was on duty at that time.
The student needed the latest data on the number of child workers in Banda Aceh City as initial data for a survey plan for data collection that would be used to complete the thesis she was currently compiling. In addition to obtaining the data sourced from the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), the student also had the opportunity to discuss with BPS Banda Aceh City regarding the survey methodology that she would use.
The BPS Banda Aceh City represented by Muhammad Iqbal Iradah together with Rini Kipiani provided several inputs related to survey variables, questionnaires, number of respondents, and thesis material that she was compiling.
The above activities are the implementation of the Implementation of Integrated Statistics Service Standards (PST) in the BPS environment. PST services, both directly (offline) and indirectly (online), include:
a. Statistical Consultation Services;
b. Library Services;
c. Paid Statistical Product Services; and
d. Statistical Activity Recommendation Services.
BPS Banda Aceh City hopes that more and more students, lecturers, researchers, agencies, and the general public will use the PST services, both online and offline, that have been provided.
