Abstract

The problem of human development is one of the fundamental problems that is the center of attention of local governments. Quality human resources can be used as an indicator of the success of development in an area. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) annually conducts surveys to produce various economic and social indicators, one of which is used to calculate the Human Development Index (HDI). The data and information on human development presented in this publication are expected to assist the government, business world, education sector, and the people of Banda Aceh City in formulating strategies and pursuing better and sustainable development.
