Monitoring and evaluation are part of a series of activities that must be carried out to measure program progress, ensure smoothness, effectiveness, and achievement of targets.
On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, BPS Banda Aceh City (Sectoral Data Supervisor) together with the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office of Banda Aceh City (Data Guardian) and Bappeda Banda Aceh City (One Data Forum Coordinator) conducted monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of coaching activities for sectoral statistics organizers that have been carried out throughout 2024. This activity was also accompanied by a discussion of the results of the implementation of the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) and preparations for the implementation of activities that have not been carried out according to the Action Plan formulated in early 2024.
Head of the Banda Aceh City Communication and Information Service, Tgk Alizar, S.Ag, M.Hum, said that the value of the Banda Aceh City Statistics Development Index (IPS) increased significantly from 1.83 points in 2023 to 2.57 points in 2024 with a predicate of ADEQUATE. This increase should be appreciated together even though it has not yet reached the desired target, namely a predicate of GOOD. For this reason, collaboration is needed by all stakeholders in the implementation of sectoral statistics to continue to increase the IPS value sustainably in the following years.
Head of BPS Banda Aceh City, Tedi Herdiawan, S.Sos, M.A.P reminded again that there are still activities that have not been carried out according to the Action Plan at the beginning of the year that need to be a shared concern to be prepared. Some of them are training for OPDs organizing sectoral statistics in Banda Aceh City and plans to make the Banda Aceh City Open Data website https://data.bandaacehkota.go.id/ a front end media for disseminating Banda Aceh City Government statistical data.
